Laboratory Development

CNC/FMS Lab

This Lab was conceptualized and developed during the 1997-1998 academic session in order to provide our MPAE students with knowledge and hands-on experience in the area of computer integrated manufacturing and considering the emerging R&D in the area of manufacturing segment in the industrial world. The objective of the CNC/FMS Lab is to prepare the students industry ready and to acquire employability skill with the knowledge of CNC programming by using G & M codes and cutting path generation through 3D simulation software. In addition, this Lab helps in understanding the concept of FMS used in Industry.

Contribution in the Publication of Technical Book

  • Diamond Grinding of Hardmetals Under Electrical Discharge In-process Dressing Conditions” - Kharkiv: NTU “KPI”, 2003.-359 P.- In Russian Language (Almazno-Eskravoe shliphobaniye Tvyordikh Splabov – Kharkiv : NTU ”khPI”, 2003 – 359 P. – Russk.  Yazik).
  • Contributed substantially in the conduct of experiments, preparation and analysis of experimental results, and other materials, based on which above mentioned   book is written. This book is of great interest for the manufacturing engineers, scientists, as well as for those engaged in the hard metal Industry.
